My favorite right now is the hymn “Nothing But The Blood” with the Haitian worship song “Loue” (available in English and Creole). I love pairing hymns with global songs as it is such a powerful reminder that we are part of the multicultural Body of Christ. And we belong together! FYI: you can find this hymn/global chorus pairing + others on our “Hymns With Global Songs” project at: http://proskuneo.info/resources/multicultural-worship-music/

“Day by Day”: the hymn (Skoog/Ahnfelt) with the contemporary song (Chichester/Schwartz, from Godspell) as a chorus – an ideal pairing for tempo change, seamless key change back-and-forth, and complementary themes of prayer and testimony
