NEW! Praying for Your Worship Ministry – by Lifeway Worship

January 8, 2016 Leave a Comment

Praying for Your Worship MinistryThis year, as our WorshipLife blog continues to grow (thanks to all of you for reading and sharing!), we’re adding a few more things to keep us engaged with you, the Churches and Worship Pastors we serve! As always, we want to make your lives as easy as possible while also keeping in mind there might be other things you and your worship ministry are struggling with and worrying about — you know, more than just “What music should we sing” worries.

So… with your help, we want to pray for you and your worship ministry. Specifically. By name. By submitting your name, church, and specific prayer request, we’ll choose a Church to focus on for one month. It’s simple, just email your information to Mike.Harland@Lifeway.com and Chasity.Phillips@Lifeway.com, and we’ll feature you on one of our Friday blogs. Not only will our entire Lifeway Worship team pray for you, we’ll ask others to pray for you as well. We will only get as specific as you would like us to get (you tell us), but there is power in prayer, and we want to help you however we can!

After all, the Bible says:

Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12

9. Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their effors. 10. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to life him up. 11. Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm? 12. And if someone opverpowers on person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. (HCSB)

We want to be your third strand.

Remember, it’s easy! Just email us, tell us who you are, your Church and why your church and worship ministry need prayer. We’ll gather the army! Oh, and even if your church isn’t selected as the “featured” Church, we’ll still include a list of those who’ve asked for prayer. God knows the specifics.
