Who knows if anyone actually said it, but this old colloquial phrase could be said of this week and Music in the Mountains!
The old saying is true – this week is full of gold! The most exciting aspect of the week for me is the conversation that continues with the churches we serve. So often, we are places where we just don’t have the time to spend fellowshipping with the people we serve. That’s not true at Music in the Mountains. Something special happens when we can spend time with the faithful leaders of the churches we serve. We get to hear their hearts and they hear ours. We worship together and pray for one another. We encourage each other to be faithful and true to the Lord we serve.
There you have it – great music, great friends, a wonderful place, lots of fellowship and relaxation, and great leaders like Randy Vader and Michael Cork join me in leading this event.
We’re in Gatlinburg this week – and “thar’s gold in them thar hills!”
