Album: Even So Come
One of the most highly anticipated worship album releases of 2015 is finally here! From the creative camp at Passion comes Even So Come featuring notable worship leaders Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill, Melodie Malone, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Dave Crowder, and Brett Younker. The heart of the Passion movement has been captured from start to finish.
The folks at Sparrow Records and sixstepsrecords have delivered another powerful project that is bold and impactful. With a clear focus on the hope we have in Christ and His power to save, the message of this album is both timely and timeless. Compelling and soul-searching are the lyrics on several songs, including Even So Come, The Saving One, My Anchor, and The Cross of Christ. Introspective and intimate are other songs, like Draw Near, Wonder, and You Found Me. Fresh and invigorating are new worship anthems, like The Awesome God You Are, Shout Hosanna, and The Way.
Every moment of this recording brilliantly represents the magnanimous heart of the Passion Conferences with sonic integrity. Roaring guitars, huge drums, engulfing keyboards, and blazing lead vocals fill this album with creative energy and musical mastery. Passion continues to lead the Church to new places of innovative sound design and production.
Lift Your Head Weary Sinner (Chains) stands out in my mind as a truly fantastic and luminous moment. The amalgamation of hymn-like lyric, tribal vocals, and classic southern rock is nothing short of stunning and moving! This cut will be in high rotation on my personal playlist of new favorites.
Like all of the preceding Passion album releases, Even So Come is certain to leave an indelible mark on the Church. The heart-cry of today’s generation has once again been unleashed. Be among the first to get this album and bring this dynamic collection of new songs into your journey and community of faith. You will not be disappointed!
