Phil Wickham continues to answer God’s call upon his life to lead the Church in worship with passion and authenticity. Phil’s latest live album, Singalong 3 (LIVE), is a bold and unfeigned continuation of his long and impactful career as a worship leader/songwriter.

Any artist who is willing to be daring and vulnerable enough to venture into a live recording project is deserving of respect. Wickham takes this adventuresome determination to a brand new level on this project. The entire album features a Phil’s exceptional singing accompanied only by an acoustic guitar and congregation. Only a talent like that of Phil Wickham can provide such an overwhelmingly powerful expression of worship without the enrichment of a band! Singalong 3 is a truly unique and refreshing worship experience- uninterrupted by the instance of overproduced tracks and/or technology. What you hear is what you get… an unfettered, unabashed worship of God’s people.

Wickham is joined by his worship leading friends, Jeremy Riddle, Kari Jobe, and Shane & Shane for a few songs. These instances, alongside select songs, including Doxology/Amen, Carry My Soul, and Thirst, are memorable points.

If you’re longing for a reprieve from the crowded landscape of band-driven worship albums, do not miss this project! It is a thought-provoking reminder that great songs and surrendered gifts are all that is necessary for God’s people to worship.

Craig AdamsCraig Adams, a recipient of multiple Dove Awards, has produced and/or participated in more than 3,500 recordings for artists, record labels, music publishers, tv/film, and radio over the past 35 years.
