We are continuing to strive to make LifewayWorship.com the best place to go to for your worship resources. Let us know how we’re doing.
Jonathan,
How will these new additions be incorporated into the digital products? Are they added incrementally?
I find this to be an increasingly valuable tool for my worship ministry, and I greatly appreciate the effort put forth by the project team to continue its development.
Blessing,
Joe
Hi, Joe. By “digital products,” do you mean the website? These additions are already on the website. Please clarify if I’m misunderstanding. Thanks.
Sorry for not clarifying. If I purchased the lead sheet CD-ROM, would it include the new songs or only those provided in the original release?
Joe
Ah, you’re speaking of the digital hard goods. The CD-ROM contains the files we had at the time the CD-ROM was created back in 2008 (975 titles as I recall). The CD-ROM’s have not been updated to include our newer releases and will likely not be updated any time soon (if ever). To get any of the titles since the initial launch, you will need to download them a la carte from our website. If you want to see what titles have been added, start with this blog post and these.
Thanks,
Jonathan
Perfect. That’s what I was looking for. I’ll try to keep track of what I have on the disk and what has come down the pike. Still, you guys have done impressive work. LifeWay Worship is my go-to for just about everything now.
Joe
Hint: Look at the highest “hymn number” on your CD-ROM. When you go to our site and find a song, click on the “i” (i.e. “information”) button to see its hymn number. We still use hymn numbers even the song is not in the hymnal for just such purposes.
If the hymn number is higher than the last hymn number on your CDROM, then that song is not included on your CDROM.
